The road crew maintains the Township owned roads, road signs, municipal properties and other aspect's of the Townships public works needs.
We currently employ three full time and one part time road crew member along with two part time winter road maintenance employees.
The Township is responsible for maintaining approximately 40 miles of paved roadways and 3 miles of unpaved roads. There are 28 miles of state roads in our Township that are maintained by PennDOT.
Township Roads
The Township will not be providing any snow, tree or branch removal services on state-owned roads within the Township. PennDot will be responsible for maintaining all state roads in Richmond Township.
